Carlo Ancelotti was delighted with Chelsea after his side easily beat MSK Zilina in the UEFA Champions League in Slovakia.
The English champions went 3-0 up at half-time thanks to a Nicolas Anelka brace and Michael Essien opener.
Daniel Sturridge added a fourth three minutes after the re-start before Tomas Oravec pulled a consolation back.
Ancelotti was especially pleased with the first half display in the Group F victory which comes after a perfect four wins out of four in the English Premier League.
He told Sky Sports 2: "The first half was fantastic. We played very well on the counter-attack. We had a lot of chances. It was a fantastic performance.
"The second half was different. We had a good control of the game.
"We are doing very well. We are in a good moment. We started well in the Premier League and in the Champions League - everything is okay now."
On having achieved such a convincing win without the suspended Didier Drogba, the injured Frank Lampard and the rested Ashley Cole, he added: "We have an important squad. We want at this moment to use all the players."
Ancelotti hailed the performance of Anelka in particular.
