Omawumi, 2Face, MI, Jesse Jagz & Da Grin Shining At The NEA Awards 2010

For some the Nigeria Entertainment Awards has come and gone and for some it will continue to be a time that they will not forget in a hurry.

The 2010 edition of the Awards took place in New York over the weekend and it was one of the best since it started.

Nigeria `wonder woman` Omawumi Magbele who hosted the event went home with two awards.

There were on point performances from Jesse Jagz who won Best New Art of the year & Lara George (who won the Gospel Artist of the Year).

Putting tears in the eyes of all that night was the Award for the Album of the year which went to the Late Rapper (Da Grin).

2Face won two awards while M.I who won best rap art of the year reiterated his recent statement that he is leaving the music industry to pursue a career in Nollywood.
